LendingTools.com began as a vision for three community bankers in the late 1990’s, transforming from concept to reality with it’s incorporation in 2000. Frustrated with the lack of affordable banking software geared for the community banking market, LendingTools.com’s founders set out to change the software landscape by introducing web-based, user friendly banking applications that were most importantly affordable and reliable. Beginning with offerings such as lending analysis applications, CRM and an Intranet platform, the name LendingTools.com was fitting. However, with the early success of these solutions came an opportunity that would change the focus of this small Kansas based company, and the rest, as they say, is history. For LendingTools.com began providing correspondent based solutions to a local correspondent bank and soon found an unanswered need in the correspondent banking space. LT answered that need with the first and only hosted web-based solution customized and built exclusively for correspondent institutions. Today, the name remains the same even though the focus has shifted and the commitment to service has not wavered as LT now provides correspondent transaction and settlement tools to 75% of the nation’s bankers’ banks along with several commercial correspondent institutions. Nearly one third of all community banks login to LT systems daily to conduct their correspondent banking business, making LendingTools.com the leading provider of technology services dedicated to correspondent institutions.
